TORONTO’S NEWEST IMMERSIVE 3D ILLUSION ART MUSEUM TO HOST LUNAR NEW YEAR CELEBRATION


Public and media invited to ring in the Year of the Dragon with iArtS Museum


(TORONTO - January 29, 2024) — King West’s newest hidden gem invites local businesses and community members to join a celebration of the Lunar New Year with the unveiling of a new 3D immersive dragon exhibit.


The event will take place on Sunday, February 4, from 3 to 5 p.m. at the illusion art museum located at 580 King St W, 2nd Floor. Local MPP Chris Glover (Spadina-Fort York) will give welcome remarks.

To celebrate the Lunar New Year, the art museum is offering special pricing for children aged 5 to 15 at discounted ticket prices of $19.99, while attendees aged 16 and older can purchase a ticket for $29.999. Children four years and under can enter for free. Business members from the local community are also offered a 20 per cent discount when purchasing two or more tickets.


Media members who RSVP can attend free of charge.

ITINERARY

  • 3 - 3:45 p.m.: Welcome and exhibit tours, appetizers and refreshments served

  • 3:45 - 4:15 p.m.: Introductory remarks by MPP Glover and Ms. Molgan

  • 4:15 - 5 p.m.: Networking and exhibit tours

The iArtS Museum is a new immersive art museum aiming to redefine the traditional art experience by providing visitors with a platform to become co-creators of the art. The museum showcases 20 exhibitions created by a diverse group of artists, and has been praised by BlogTO as an “Insta-worthy experience”.


The museum’s hours are Monday to Thursday from 3 to 8 p.m., and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Regular ticket prices range from $25.99 to $29.99, with free entry for children four years and under are available for purchase online and in person.
